Mono Print Fabric Wall Hanging
It’s all about being drawn to the light at the edge of the shore. This is where the light sparkles as the sun hits it. Using a mono print technique on fabric the brush marks and draw lines add a beautiful gradient down the piece. Copper foil appears across the piece like a paint brush being dragged across the piece.
**If you want your piece hung on a rod please select for an extra £10. The rod is bamboo and the string is ethically sourced. I will machine stitch the piece using the same colour as the back ground. It will therefore affect the length, loosing about 5 cm off the length so it will be around 90cm long.**
**Or equally this piece looks ready good hung on our A2 Magnetic Oak Poster hanger roughly 43cm. **
I make everything in my home studio, in Leith Edinburgh. In every process I look at minimising waste and reusing materials, from binders to fabric. I take great pride in sourcing ethical materials from reclaimed, dead-stock or organic/fairtrade sources and I only use natural fabrics.
Linen base is dead-stock from ‘Amothreads’
Dyes are reclaimed inks and binder is a seaweed binder to create the mono-print Copper is another metal.
Copper is imitation metal copper- Schlag.
Do not wash as the imitiation copper leafing will come away. Spot clean only.
Every piece is gift wrapped with eco tissue paper and washi tape. Then it is put in eco packaging to be shipped comfortably and safely to you. If you require very specific gift wrapping just message me.
